I had my 12 person draft a couple of weeks ago and drafted Peyton Manning as my only QB, thinking that his injury was not as major as it is. I've been offered Brandon Marshall and Matt Stafford for my Percy Harvin and Daniel Thomas.

Here is the rest of my team:

WR Hakeem Nicks
WR Steve Smith (Car)
RB Arian Foster
RB Ryan Grant
RB Deangelo Williams
RB Beanie Wells
RB CJ Spiller
RB Jerome Harrison
TE Kellen Winslow

Would you guys accept this trade? Another option is for me to drop Harrison or Spiller and pick up McNabb.

I would do it. Stafford may be end up scoring more than Manning this year in the end...

I would do the trade unless theres a decent qb in free agency. Or a big risk big reward qb and roll the dice

There isn't much out there in free agency. The top Yahoo projected free agent QBs are:

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Donovan McNabb, Cam Newton, Jason Campbell, Chad Henne, Matt Hasselback, Tavaris Jackson, Alex Smith

I personally wouldn't trade away Percy Harvin.
With Rice gone he could have his biggest year yet.

Manning may play beginning week 1, but even if he doesn't, McNabb, Henne, Fitz, or Cambpbell could hold you over for a week...

Unless manning is out more than a few weeks and the colts bye week 11 Stafford is just going to sit on your bench. But your RBs are deep though. Thomas for Stafford isnt a bad deal, I would make that trade

I agree with Vegas Jogger above on everything he said.

He wants Thomas because he assumes Reggie Bush is going to get hurt eventually.

But again I wouldn't trade Percy Harvin.

You need him to team with Hakeem Nicks as your wide receivers.

Don't expect much from Steve Smith with those Carolina QB's...

Thomas for Stafford in a heartbeat. If Stafford stays upright he is a stud. Detroit has one explosive offense and it is centered around an explosive passing game. Stafford will break out with an elite QB year...if....he stays healthy.

Manning just passed his physical and was taken off the PUP list. Not sure if this means he starts week 1 or not, but its a good sign for colts and his ff owners

He will start 1 series to keep his consecutive game streak alive.

my mistake, PUP activation is basically a formality. doesnt really mean much. if they didnt activate him by the 1st, he would be forced to sit the first 6 games.
i doubt they will put him out for one play or one series to extend the streak. if he plays week 1, he will play the entire season barring injury.

I'm glad I traded Thomas for Stafford when I did. It's not looking good for Manning.
